The chain saws have fallen silent

In March 2012, Anders purchased 3,633 ha of forest in Western Leaota from a Finnish Investment Fund, who had been logging agressively in the area over the last year and a half. Virgin forests were cut, over 200 year old beech trees were transformed into fire wood and way more timber was cut as could regrow on the whole surface. After the purchase of the forest, the chain saws have now fallen silent, and the forest belongs back to the trees and all the other inhabitants of Valea Badeanca.
